Victoria Beckham Stuns in Two Chic LBDs During Romantic Vacation With David Beckham

Victoria Beckham is having, in her words, a “Perfect end to summer” in a look totally reminiscent of her Spice Girls days—multiple black LBDs.

Victoria—then Victoria Adams—popularized the short little black dress in the mid-1990s, so much so that it became her Posh Spice uniform in the group’s heyday. The fashion and beauty founder—married to David Beckham since 1999 and with whom she shares four kids—is proving nearly 30 years later that the look still has legs as she shared snaps from her family’s Italian summer vacation on Instagram.

Photos included the Beckhams bundled up in one another aboard a boat in front of a cave; Victoria in an LBD and a baseball cap on a boat; another Spice Girls-coded reference with Victoria throwing up a peace sign; a family photo—yet again in an LBD—and plenty of family moments from the Beckham family holiday.

According to The Daily Mail, the family spent their vacation on their superyacht, which the outlet reported was worth $21 million (or £16 million). Notably absent was Victoria and David’s eldest child, Brooklyn, though their other two sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper can be seen in the family photos.

Their son Romeo turned 23 years old on September 1, and proud dad David praised him as someone who is “kind, humble, polite, hard working and the most special person to everyone. We love you so much.” Victoria said of her son, “You are our everything. We love you so much.”

“Your love and kindness fills our hearts every day,” she added.

The Beckhams have been vacationing near the Amalfi Coast this summer ahead of multiple new projects for Victoria, including collaborating with Augustinus Bader to launch her very own foundation, the Foundation Drops, which, well, drops on September 3—just one day away.

“Foundation has been a dream of mine since I first started Victoria Beckham Beauty,” she told Elle. “I originally wanted it to be the first product I produced, but it’s such a competitive category. I wasn’t ready for it. This has been on my mind and heart, and we’ve been working on it for longer than I remember.”

These days, Victoria Beckham might be arguably as well known for her fashion and beauty empire as for her Spice Girls fame. Since the pop group went on hiatus in 2000, Posh Spice has embraced her entrepreneurial side and reputation as a trendsetter–and she was honored for her business achievements on Tuesday, Nov. 5 by a very special presenter. Before Beckham’s lookalike daughter Harper introduced the Entrepreneur Award with a sweet speech, the 13-year-old and her mom coordinated a mother-daughter style moment on the red carpet. Beckham and her mini-me made the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards a family night out, posing on the red carpet in complementary silk outfits that were basically made for a lookalike appearance. Victoria put an elegant twist on corporate dressing, stunning in a softly draped cream silk suit that featured a plunging neckline, wide lapels, and a tie belt that cinched in her waist. Her thigh-length blazer showed a pair of barrel-legged silk trousers in the same material and black heels peeping out from underneath. Leaning into a minimalist aesthetic for the evening, the fashion designer showed off a dainty diamond necklace and matching stud earrings by styling her brunette locks up in an updo with face-framing pieces. Bold feathered brows, dark mascara, and a glowing peach hue on her lips and cheeks added some summer beauty to the winter white look. Meanwhile, Harper took style cues from her mom’s red carpet dressing with a floor-length silk slip gown. The baby blue number, which featured spaghetti straps and a diamond-shaped cutout in front, was complemented with strands of layered necklaces. The 13-year-old wore her blonde hair in a middle-parted straight style, and appeared to mirror her mom’s beauty look with a light pink flush and dark lashes. After posing together, the “proud” teen opened up about looking up to her mom, both professionally and personally, while presenting her with the Entrepreneurial Award on a “school night.” Harper began her speech by lauding her mom’s work ethic, telling the crowd that she has “showed me the value of working hard, dreaming big and setting my standards.” Harper also called out how Victoria continued to prioritize her family despite her busy schedule, adding,“She’s taught me so much about what it takes to succeed. But above all else she’s taught me to always be kind and even though she has a million things to do, she rarely misses school.” Then calling the woman of the hour up on stage, Harper concluded, “Tonight I am so proud to present the Entrepreneur of the Year award to a truly inspiring woman who means the world to me: My amazing mummy, Victoria Beckham.”

Victoria—who has been vulnerable about struggles with her skin over the years—added, “I get photographed a lot, and the perfect foundation was always the one product I couldn’t find. I’ve never found [one with] the correct amount of coverage, and that treats and doesn’t irritate my skin.

“People don’t need more product unless there’s a real reason why,” she continued. “I believe there is nothing else like this.”

She added that she wore her foundation throughout the filming of her upcoming docuseries, Victoria Beckham, on the red carpet, and for photoshoots: “Looking back at those pictures, it really satisfies me,” she said.

Speaking of her Netflix docuseries, husband David said in an appearance on the Today show earlier this year that he encouraged Victoria to do her own docuseries after the success of his own, called Beckham: “It wasn’t the most easiest thing to get her to agree to,” David said, adding that, “In my opinion, she was the star of mine. So I just thought, ‘This is the opportunity.’”

“She’s been working on her brand for the last 18 years,” he continued. “She is unbelievably hardworking, and no one gets to see that. So I convinced her to let people actually see what she does every day and what goes into her business. She’s a very clever and hardworking lady, so I want people to see that.”
